Mojitos and me, mint to be

Mojitos have a fascinating history that can be traced back to Cuba in the 16th century. The drink was originally made with lime juice, sugar, mint, and rum and was popular among the working class. Over time, mojitos gained popularity among the upper classes as well, and different variations of the drink began to emerge.

Some people preferred to use different alcohols, such as gin or vodka, instead of rum. Others added fruit or other flavourings to the mix. Today, mojitos can be found worldwide and are enjoyed by people of all ages and backgrounds.

They are a refreshing and delicious way to beat the heat during the summer months and are the perfect accompaniment to any meal or celebration. So why not mix up a batch of mojitos for your next get-together and see what all the fuss is about?
